It was planned that I would assist this big event in Budapest as the Support Specialist of the Deiser apps, but at some point, this changed, and I was attending as the Partner Manager. My colleague David and I, we were thrilled to be a Gold Sponsor at META-Inf's Atlassian Day held in the beautiful city of Budapest, we were a bit nervous, but that went away as soon as we set food in the event’s venue. This event brought together an exceptional gathering of Atlassian enthusiasts, including Marketplace Partners and Solution Partners from Hungary, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, New Zealand, and Spain (that’s where Deiser’s based at). We had the privilege of participating as speakers in 2 talks: (our main talk and the “Steal the show”) and a workshop, and the experience was nothing short of incredible, once again.

The Atmosphere of Collaboration

From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement of meeting new and known faces from other events (like the recent Atlassian Team ’23 in Las Vegas). The venue was filled with passionate META-Inf people eager to bring this event to the top of event’s podium, organizing and showing us the ropes of the venue so we could feel as comfortable as possible, and as up-to-date with the event as we could. It was amazing to see everyone collaborating with each other to reach a goal.

Engaging Talks

The talks delivered by various experts were a highlight of the event. It was inspiring to witness the depth of knowledge shared by industry leaders, covering topics ranging from Agile methodologies to advanced Jira workflows. These talks provided valuable insights into how Atlassian tools could be leveraged to improve team collaboration, increase productivity, and streamline business processes. As one of the event sponsor’s we could not attend every talk, but we could watch and participate in the activities surrounding the talks, like the “Steal the show” talks, ScriptRunner won by a mile with a catchy rap song.‍

Enlightening Workshops

The workshops offered a hands-on experience that allowed attendees to dive deeper into specific aspects of Atlassian products. We were honored to contribute as workshop speakers, sharing our expertise and demonstrating the power of our Deiser apps. The interactive nature of the workshops encouraged participants to ask questions, exchange ideas, and discover practical solutions to their organizational challenges. Attendees were interested in the use cases we offered, and they even helped us get better finding a tiny bug in one of our apps (nice catch there!)

Networking Opportunities

One of the most rewarding aspects of META-Inf's Atlassian Day was the opportunity to network with fellow Marketplace Partners and Solution Partners. We had engaging conversations, establishing new connections, and exchanging valuable insights on the latest trends and innovations within the Atlassian ecosystem. Collaborating with like-minded professionals reinforced the sense of community and collective growth within the industry. It is really rewarding talking to our fellow partners as they are always willing to help and listen. You can see how happy we all were to be there networking around! The event's international reach was evident with the presence of partners and clients from multiple countries. It was truly inspiring to witness the diversity and global perspective of the Atlassian community. Learning about the experiences and challenges faced by our peers in Hungary, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, The Netherlands, France, Germany, and New Zealand expanded our understanding of how Atlassian tools are transforming organizations worldwide. It was an awesome mix of internationality.
