About the Section
Most leaders understand that even the smallest change can trigger resistance within an organization. When it comes to generative artificial intelligence (AI), team members often hesitate to embrace new technology, worry about long-term consequences — or simply don’t know where to start. According to Atlassian’s 2024 State of Teams report, teams worldwide lose 25 billion work hours every year due to inefficient collaboration.
In contrast, teams that regularly use AI tools are 1.6 times more productive and 1.9 times more adaptable to change, according to Atlassian’s research. This shows that the strategic and intentional implementation of AI is essential for teams to unlock the true potential of human–AI collaboration.
