László Mérő, PhD is a mathematician by training and worked as an artificial intelligence researcher at the Computer and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA SZTAKI) between 1974 and 1984. He is Professor Emeritus at the Institute of Psychology at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and was also a professor at Babeș-Bolyai University from 2007 to 2022. His main research interests are in the psychology of thinking and economic psychology. His popular science books, aimed at a broader intellectual audience, have been published in 11 languages.

What language is the event in?
META-INF Day is a bilingual event. Presentations in the main theatre will be held in both English and Hungarian, with interpretation and simultaneous translation provided to ensure the entire program is accessible in both languages.
Vendor presentations and workshops by Atlassian Marketplace partners, held in the practice room, will be conducted in English.
